A Blocked template for those Multiple Photo layouts

Hi, I have a fun blocked template to share today that is straight forward but very versatile.  If you have a group of themed photos this one might be a good fit.  Here is my sketch.

I am fortunate enough to have a yard that allows me to have a nice flower garden.  I decided to put a few of my favorite pictures in a layout.  Here is my garden page.

I have also used this template for a themed page that didn't focus on photos.  I moved a few of the elements around and got the following look.

This layout was all about love and I filled by block with all kinds of hearts.  The one photo in the layout was placed with a heart mask.  There are all kinds of possibilities to explore.

If you would like the template you can download it from the link below.  The file contains PSD, TIF and PNG files.  Hope you enjoy it!

A Diamond Template to Share!

Hi, today I have a template to share that was inspired by a challenge I participated in at ScrapMatters.  We were asked to create a layout based on inspiration we got from an advertisement that contained several geometric shapes.  After looking at the ad and the flow of the shapes I decided to build a page with diamond shapes.  Here is my sketch.

I created a layout for the challenge using a beautiful kit by Stolen Moments and Forever Joy called Petticoat Rose.  Here is my page.

I love the pretty almost muted colors in this kit and how them blended together on the page.  If you would like the template you can download it from the link below.  The download file contains PSD, TIF and PNG files.  Hope you enjoy it!

A New Template with Banner shapes!

Hi all!  I had a great Thanksgiving and hope you did too.  We had some friends over and enjoyed eating, talking and laughing so much that I never stopped to take a single picture!  So I don't have any Thanksgiving pictures to scrap.  Well, it was still a wonderful day.

I have a template to share today created with multiple banner shapes.  Over the holiday weekend I did a little on-line shopping and found a pretty Christmas kit on sale.  So, of course, I had to use it.  First let me share the sketch of the template.

I think this design has many possibilites other than just Christmas, so use you creativity and make this something special to you.  Here is my page that I created using a beautiful kit by Kristin Cronin-Barrow called Once Upon a Christmas: Celebrating.

Here is my page I created using the template.  I choose bright warm colors to compliment my photo.  I used a beautiful kit called Summer Fades by Traci Reed and Meghan Mullens to complete the page.

A Template for Fall!

The trees are starting to turn their bright colors and the air is picking up that crisp feel.  I love fall, it is my favorite season.  I created a template today that really could be used for any type of page, but I put lots of leaves in this design so I could maximize those pretty fall kits. Here is my sketch.

Here is my layout using the template.  My page was created using two kits.  The first is Golden Days by Sherwood Studio.  Then I picked out a couple of flowers from a kit by Jennifer Labre called Harvest. Here is my layout.

You can download the template from the file sharing site below.  Enjoy!

A Template with Angles!

Hi Dolores here today to share a template and sketch with great angles!  I love putting my page out of kilter from time to time.  Angles can mix things and and give you a whole fresh look.  So tilt that paper and your photo to give your layout a different perspective.  Here is my sketch.

Nothing on my page is horizontal or vertical, the photo, title ,background papers and journaling are all on angles.  I love flowers so adorning those paper edges with leaves and flowers was fun.  Here is my layout.
I created this page with a beautiful kit from Sherwood Studio called Summertime Blues.  There is lots of space for journaling in this design, but if you prefer a second photo could easily occupy that lower left corner.  You can download the template I created in PhotoShop from the file sharing site below.  Enjoy!

A new Template with more big swirls!

Hi, I have a template to share today that has beautiful big swirls for the background design.  This  lovely look will give your page a lot of movement and allow you to show off one of your favorite photos with a selection of multiple papers.  Here is my sketch.

I think you could easily add an additional photo to the lower right of this design if it was desired.  You could also continue your journaling down that middle big swirl for those of you who love to document those special moments.   Here is my layout using the template.

I created this page with a gorgeous kit recently released by Jennifer Labre called About a Bloom. If you'd like the template you can download it from the file sharing site below:

A Template with Chevrons!

Hi I have a template to share today loaded with Chevrons!  I have been seeing chevrons everywhere and decided to build a template with chevron borders with a pretty scallop edge thrown in.  Here is a sketch of my template.

I wanted a bright warm summer page for two cute pictures of my dog Maggie when she was just a puppy.  I chose a beautiful kit by Kristin Cronin-Barrow called "Sweet Summertime" to complete my layout.

Doesn't Maggie look so sweet and innocent.  She was an adorable puppy but like all puppies had a bit of mischief in her.  These were crazy fun days trying to train her were she was so small.

If you'd like the template you can download it from the file sharing site below.

A Template for a pair of photos!

Hi, I have a template today to share that will handle a pair of your great photos.  I like taking lots of pictures now that digital has come so far and I especially like taking lots of shots when I am photographing people.  I am always hoping to get at least one photo I love, but sometimes I end up with multiple good shots, or at least photos that speak to me about the moment.  Here is my sketch of a template with two photos.

Below is my layout from this sketch.

I created this page with a beautiful kit from Etc by Danyale called Renewal.  I love the earthy tones and natural feel.  It was just right for these outdoor shots of my lovely niece.  If you are interested in the template you can download it from the file sharing site below.

A Sketch and Template with more Strips!

Hi, I have a template/sketch to share today that uses strips to build a colorful background.  The template is based on using four basic papers to build the strip across the page.  Here is my sketch.

I have created two sample layouts with the template.  Here is my first page using a beautiful natural kit by Krystal Hartley called A Happy Thought.

For my second page I rotated the template 90 degrees counter clockwise and made a few adjustments.
I dropped the banner and added a few elements on the left side of the page.

This layout was created with a lovely kit called Vintage Dreams by LDrag Designs.  If you'd like the template I created in PhotoShop it can be downloaded from MediaFire using the link below.

A new template with Vertical Waves!

Today I have a fun template to share that uses vertical waves to add movement to your page.  Breaking up the background of a page is also something I like to do and the vertical waves do that nicely.  Here is my layout.

This page was created with a lovely kit by Kim Broedelet called Mulberry Fields.  I really like the rich colors paired with the pastel and earth tones.  Here is my sketch for the page.

Fun Scallops from Circles - A New Template!

Hi, I have a template to share today that is layered with nice big scallops to add some depth to your pages.  Basic shapes are great layering tools and joining a few circles together can make wonderful scallops of any size.  Here is my page.

The cute little baby in this page is the daughter of a friend.  She is the happiest little girl and it's a joy to create pages with her pictures.  The layout was created using a kit by Penny Springmann called Unwritten.  Here is the sketch of this page.

This template works well rotated.  I decided to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise to create the layout below.  I used a beautiful kit called Indigo Nights by Jennifer Labre and Studio Flergs to create the page.  These colors are so rich and vibrant, I really enjoyed working with this kit.

For this layout I swapped out the round picture for a square frame and dropped the second picture in the corner and placed my title there instead.  A template is just a starting point for your creativity, adjust any template to meet your needs!   I have placed the template on the file sharing site below for those that are interested.  Enjoy scrapping!

A Hexagon Template to share!

Hi, Dolores here to share a new template.  The hexagon shape has been so popular, I have seen several beautiful templates that use this shape.  It has inspired me to create a template of my own utilizing hexagons.  I love mixing papers in a scrapbook page and building a background from multiple shapes is an easy way to do that.  Here is my page featuring my sweet lab Maggie.

Never have we had a dog that liked toys more than Maggie.  She will pick up as many as she can, in the the picture above 3 toys, and follow you around until you spend a little time playing fetch with her.  I created this page using a beautiful kit witl lovely Spring colors from Sherwood Studio called "A Sunny Disposition."  Here is the preview of the template.

I created the template in PhotoShop CS5.  You can dowload it at the file sharing site below.

A Quilt inspired Template!

There are lots of templates these days with geometric designs.  I created one to share today that is inspired by a quilt.  Since we just celebrated Mother's Day I have been thinking about my mother and grandmother.  Both were excellent seamstresses and my grandmother loved quilts, so my template today has the look of a quilt.  Here is my page.

This page was created using a pretty kit by Elise's Pieces called "Young Love."  The bright cheery colors and pretty hearts and flowers prints remind me of quit fabrics my grandmother loved.  They are very heartwarming.  Here is the sketch for the page.

If you would like the PhotoShop template for this page you can download it for the file sharing site below.

A fun Template to Share!

Today I want to share a template that is a little more versatile.  I think some templates just lend themselves to rotating the page layout for a different look.  This simple design is just the kind of page that looks great from more than one perspective.  Here are my layouts.

This page I created with a cool kit by Penny Springmann called "Family Time."  Check out Penny's Facebook page as it is a freebie download this month!  She has some fun PhotoShop brushes included in the kit which I really enjoyed using.

For this second layout I rotated my template 90 degrees.  I think this looks is just as appealing as the original design.  I created this page with an elegant kit by LDrag Designs called "Timeless." The soft colors are just right for the mood of the page.  Here is a sketch of the template design.

You can download the PhotoShop template from the file sharing site below:
