These are such perfect colors for sping and I love all the special details.  Here is a page I created using the kit and the add on.  I also used a template Solos Part 6 by Busy Bee Designs.

This darling little baby girl is the daughter of a friend and she is such a happy little one.  It's fun to scrap pictures of her.

Template Freebie to share!

Hi, I have such a good time creating templates I wanted to share this one with you today.  Recently I have experimented a bit with layering the background of my pages.  This template is one of those experiments.  Here is the layout that was the basis for the template.  The pictures are of my sweet lab Maggie.

The layout was created with a beautiful kit I picked up at Scrap Orchard by Captivated Visions.  It's called Captivating 2012-March.  These colors are so alive, it definitely feels like spring.  I have a sketch of the template below.

Endless Summer digital kit from Siamese Studio

I am thrilled to be joining the Creative Team for Siamese Studio.  I have really enjoyed the beautiful style and detail in May's kits.  Today she is re releasing a gorgeous kit called Endless Summer at The Digi Chick Shop where she is a guest designer for the month of April.  The kit is full of lovely pastels and beautiful elements that will be perfect for Spring or Easter pages.  Here is the kit preview, the link to The Digi Chick Shop is just below the image.

I had such a great time working with this kit.  These colors work well with Spring or Summer layouts.   Here are a couple of my pages with the kit.  The first is of my two constant companions, my dogs.

I loved this background paper design and the delicate scatter.  The kit has other fun elements like birds, butterflies and even some popsicles!  It's a must see.

A background mask for your layouts!

I've let myself get too busy these past months but now I'm settled again and can enjoy scrapbooking to it's fullest.  Today I wanted to share a background mask I made to dress up a layout I recently did.  Here is my page.

This sweet picture is the granddaughter of a friend.  She is a cutie.  I decided to use this subtle kit called Lavender Dreams by LDrag Designs and wanted to give the layout edges a pretty look, so I created this mask with the flower edge.  It is delicate enough it looks a bit like lace.  I think it added just enough to the page.  If you would like the PNG file I am happy to share it.

A fun lacy PNG file for your digi pages

As I have worked more and more with digital scrapbooking I have wanted to create some pages with the look of punched edges.  I have so enjoyed my paper border punches the desire was to make some PNG files that will give me that look on my digital pages.  Today I have a square PNG to share that has a pretty looped edge.  The first of the PNG files I have created to look like punches.  It has a bit of a lacy look.  Here are a couple of pages that use that PNG file.

With my "Sweet Dogs" layout I pulled the square off the side of the page so only 3 of the loopy edges show.  This pretty kit is by Zoe Pearn called Serenity.   My second page uses the full square shape.
