I loved the color combination in this month's blog hop challenge. Dark blue, pinks and white with touches of green and yellow are so beautiful together.
This week's Make-it-Monday had me experimenting with various die cuts. My final choice for this White on White with a Pop of Color challenge was one of my newest dies. I used my bitty bouquets die and stamps. Here is my project.
The Papertrey Ink Ombre Stamping challenge for this week's Make-It-Monday gave me a change to mix some pretty purples together for a Thank you card. I used a sponge dauber to apply my inks to the small Life is Beautiful butterfly stamp. I then die cut the butterflies and then added a simple background. A few rhinestone sparkles finished my card.
This week's Papertrey Ink Make-it-Monday was something I had never tried. I loved the idea, but found that my Big Shot doesn't really apply equal cutting pressure any more so I had to make multiple attempts to get the right result. In the end I followed Laura's lovely example and had success. You can catch the video here.
