Anchoring with Border and Banner Dies
This week's Make-It_Monday has a beautiful card example of Anchoring with Border and Banner Dies. I really enjoyed Melissa Phillips tutorial which you can watch here. I couldn't resist giving this a try.

This inspiration for this month's blog hop was this lovely image.
I decided to build my blue ombre effect with the Papertrey Ink Tiny Triangles stamp set. These fun little triangles are easy to use and align, so it's hard to go wrong. I topped them off with an impression plate, Sunrise Impressions 1. The sentiment is from the Little Labels stamp set.
I decided to go with something clean and simple for this challenge. The Papertrey Ink "Fancy That" stamp set fit the bill. I stamped by design and sentiment and used gold embossing powder to give them life.
This challenge got me to use a stamp set that was loads of fun to work with. I had purchased the Papertrey Ink "Cable Gram" stamp set but knew if would take a bit of time to get my trolley car aligned well with the multiple pieces to the car, so I had set it aside. The time I spent on the card was well worth it since I love the end result.
This Papertrey Ink challenge had us build a bouquet of flower using multiple stamp sets. For my bouquet I used Peaceful Garden, Hello There and Embellished Elegance all from Papertrey Ink. My sentiment is a double layer of the Wet Paint hello die.
For this challenge I used the "baby wipes" stamping technique for my butterfly so I could have a multicolor image. The butterfly is from the Papertrey Ink Life is Beautiful stamp set. The sentiment is from the Butterfly Dreams stamp set and the tag is the Basic Bookmark 3 Die.
This card was inspired by the Papertrey Ink February Inspiration Challenge. I used my Ombre Builders stamp set, Web Paint III cut die and my Small Sketched dies.
I do love the stamp designs by Maile Belles and her cards are wonderful. I chose for my inspiration a card that it appears a number of use liked. I stamped my butterfly using the "baby wipes" technique so I could blend some colors together and have a little textured look. All stamps are from the Papertrey Ink "Life is Beautiful" stamp set.
Papertrey Ink's Make-It-Monday challenge is to layer cover plates to make a shadow effect. I used my Harlequin Die to create the background for my card for the challenge. I also used my Boutique Borders Love stamps and my Happy Hearts stamp set.
