Papertrey April Blog Hop Challenge

I loved the color combination in this month's blog hop challenge.  Dark blue, pinks and white with touches of green and yellow are so beautiful together.


I had to put a bunch of flowers on my card with this lovely color combination.

This week's Make-it-Monday had me experimenting with various die cuts.  My final choice for this White on White with a Pop of Color challenge was one of my newest dies.  I used my bitty bouquets die and stamps.  Here is my project.

Ombre Stamping

The Papertrey Ink Ombre Stamping challenge for this week's Make-It-Monday gave me a change to mix some pretty purples together for a Thank you card.  I used a sponge dauber to apply my inks to the small Life is Beautiful butterfly stamp.  I then die cut the butterflies and then added a simple background.  A few rhinestone sparkles finished my card.

Double Partial Die Cutting

This week's Papertrey Ink Make-it-Monday was something I had never tried.  I loved the idea, but found that my Big Shot doesn't really apply equal cutting pressure any more so I had to make multiple attempts to get the right result.  In the end I followed Laura's lovely example and had success.  You can catch the video here.
