A new template with Vertical Waves!

Today I have a fun template to share that uses vertical waves to add movement to your page.  Breaking up the background of a page is also something I like to do and the vertical waves do that nicely.  Here is my layout.

This page was created with a lovely kit by Kim Broedelet called Mulberry Fields.  I really like the rich colors paired with the pastel and earth tones.  Here is my sketch for the page.

A new template with Bold Arrows!

Hi, Dolores here to share a new template with bold arrows to add interest to your page.  I like using multiple papers when I scrap a page and this template will let you do that with ease.  Here is a page I created with a vintage look with a beautiful kit from Sherwood Studio called Thriftique.  The inspiration for the page was thoughts of my Grandmother who loved quilting, was a beautiful seamstress and was always willing to share her lovely creations.  Therefore my title is "My Wish for Vintage Charm."

I did a second page with this template, this one a complete reverse from feminine to masculine.  Here is a page of my husband hiking.  For this page I used two coordinating kits from Sherwood Studio, Colorado Springtime and Colorado Springtime in the Canyon.  Since I live in Colorado and absolutely love it here I couldn't resist these kits.   I rotated the template 90 degrees counter clockwise to create this page.

From this perspective, can you imagine tire tracks when you see those arrows pointing straight up the page.  I can, LOL.  I created the template in PhotoShop CS5. You can download it from MediaFire below.

Enjoy the template!  Thanks for stopping by!

Fun Scallops from Circles - A New Template!

Hi, I have a template to share today that is layered with nice big scallops to add some depth to your pages.  Basic shapes are great layering tools and joining a few circles together can make wonderful scallops of any size.  Here is my page.

The cute little baby in this page is the daughter of a friend.  She is the happiest little girl and it's a joy to create pages with her pictures.  The layout was created using a kit by Penny Springmann called Unwritten.  Here is the sketch of this page.

This template works well rotated.  I decided to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise to create the layout below.  I used a beautiful kit called Indigo Nights by Jennifer Labre and Studio Flergs to create the page.  These colors are so rich and vibrant, I really enjoyed working with this kit.

For this layout I swapped out the round picture for a square frame and dropped the second picture in the corner and placed my title there instead.  A template is just a starting point for your creativity, adjust any template to meet your needs!   I have placed the template on the file sharing site below for those that are interested.  Enjoy scrapping!

A Fun Page from a Reader!

Hi, I wanted to share a pretty page a reader created using one of my templates (ds-template-18.psd).  Kelly created this cute page of her daughter with a sweet white bunny.

Kelly chose a lovely kit to show off the darling picture.  She created her page with a  kit called Best Friends Forever by Tami Miller Designs (Ellies, Papers).  I love the way Kelly used some special touches to really make this her own.  Thanks Kelly for sharing!!
